Viviana Ramírez

Director of External Communications and Crisis Management

Viviana is a Journalist with a degree in Social Communication from ARCIS University. She holds an MBA in Strategic Communication from Diego Portales University - ESERP Business School (Spain).

Her professional career started in the National Youth Institute (INJ), first as journalist and then as editor of culture of that organization, later she was in charge of press in the School of Theatre at Universidad de Chile.

She worked for ten years in Extend Comunicaciones, specializing in the field of external communications, crisis management and community work. She led projects related to education, environment, transport, unions, mining and health, among other. In addition to serve as creator and presenter of various workshops in the area of effective representation, work with the community and CSR.

Among the clients she has advised on the communication field in Chile there are the State Railways Company(EFE), Catholic University of Valparaiso, Pérez Rosales University, San Sebastián University, Codelco-Chile El Teniente Division, Ministry of Agriculture, Tacal Foundation (training and job placement workshop), Pacific Railroad, Socovesa Real Estate Company, CentroMaderas Cellulose , Correos de Chile, Chilean Chamber of Construction, Autopistas Metropolitanas, Association of Health Services Companies, Barrick Pascua-Lama, Agrosuper, IVI Clinic, UNIACC, Municipality of Colina, Viva Real Estate Company, GCED, Enerplus, Transnet, among others.

In the academic field she has taught business communication at prestigious universities in Chile such as Los Andes University, Padre Hurtado University and ARCIS University.

With more than 400 hours in training, Viviana is responsible, in Hill & Knowlton Captiva, of coaching and training areas. She has trained CEOs and executives of different areas on corporate communications in Chile and abroad.
