Paulina Pelayo

For over twelve years of career, Paulina has been linked to the analysis, definition and implementation of communication and marketing actions designed to position the image and values of the companies for which she has worked.

She stands out for her creative, organizational, strategic and proactive capacities.

Before joining HK Captiva she worked seven years in Barcelona, where she headed the Department of Products Communication at the agency Román and Associates, one of the leading companies in Spain. She previously worked for four years as Director of Marketing Communications at Hill & Knowlton Barcelona, where she joined as an account executive of the Corporate Area in 2005.

Her experience includes the expertise in brand building and positioning, strategy, press department, product launches, events and conventions as well as the exploitation of sponsorships and prescriptions. Some examples includes work done for companies such as Mattel, Yamaha, Seiko, Near Technologies, Atrápalo, BricoDepôt, Affinity Petcare, Random House Mondadori, EMTE Group, University of Barcelona and JWT, among others.

Previous Jobs Prior joining Hill & Knowlton, Paulina worked at a local agency of communications and public relations in Chile with customers of the automotive sector and as emerging market reporter in the newspaper ESTRATEGIA and in the Embassy of Chile in Washington DC, as assistant of cultural affairs.

Additional information Paulina holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a degree in Journalism from the Gabriela Mistral University in Santiago, Chile. She holds a Master in Corporate Communication at the University of Barcelona and a Masters in Media from the same university. Paulina speaks Spanish and English as her mother tongues and she is fluent in Italian and Catalan.
