Mauricio has a degree in Social Communication and Journalism from Uniacc, he has experience as an editor and journalist in various media, with over 15 years working in radio, television and print media.
He began his journalistic career on Radio National, Minuto 90 Magazine and La Red, covering sports themes. He was sports editor during the creation and launch of Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) website; he worked in the Sports Area of that channel, in addition to being a columnist for Diario Financiero and Capital Magazine in tourist and sports themes.
In 2006 he received the award APES (Entertainment Journalists Association) in the category "Best Trio Radio" for the program Horizonte AM of Radio Horizonte. In this radio, as well as in Radio Zero, he led news , internet, travel and tourism programs.
Since February 2008, he works in Hill & Knowlton Captiva, leading accounts for the area of telecommunications, services and energy.
